ROBERT KANTOR
THE ART OF PLAY
Imagine a life that balances heart, mind, and body—a circumference in touch with a center that sets events in motion around it. Try slipping your hands along sensual surfaces of shapes that move with the wind or in response to other movements in their common field. Find such longings in yourself and step into the hypnotic spin of Robert Kantor’s steel sculptures.
LATEST PROJECT

Originally conceived as a large-scale sculpture for children, Under the Rainbow also reflects Kantor's belief in art as an inclusive and participatory experience. Rather than presenting sculpture as a distant object of contemplation, the project imagines an environment that invites curiosity, exploration, and a sense of discovery. Its playful character speaks to an audience of all ages, recalling the imaginative freedom of childhood and the uncomplicated pleasure of encountering something unexpected. The work proposes that wonder is not something we necessarily outgrow, but something we must continually make room for.
